Ok, -I paid £800 for the year on the Clio. -The new car would be £1700 for the year. -There is 6months left on the clio policy therefore they owe me £400. -Half £1700 because there are only 6 months remaining =£850 -Minus the £400 already paid out for the original policy would mean I owe them...

Ok, I have an existing insurance policy open on the clio, which I paid up front. It has 6 months remaining on it. If I was to change the car now, and added it to the original policy would I just have to pay half the cost of a years insurance on the new car, minus the money I have already paid...

Ok I have HPI'd the car in question and it is a CAT D write off, which I already knew. Interestingly, the VRM (reg number) and the chassis VIN numbers do not tally.... What could this mean, the cars nicked and it has a plate from a crashed one?
