    HID's on a 172 Cup...

you're best off getting a complete set from a 1*2 including ballasts & igniters, dont need auto-leveling or anything like that - your manual ones will do fine. Ive just done an aftermarket HID kit on mine and it's turned out to be the biggest pain ever...

    HID Help (with pics.)

right... so i've just got to work out which wire is the dipped beam and re-route it to the HID's? Sweet! would i be doing any damage just running them through the sidelights for now - temporarily? or is this completely rediculous? hah.

    HID Help (with pics.)

UPDATE: Basically, i've had an idea, because there IS 12V going into the xenon light unit, just not to the actual xenons! both the sidelights & main beam are 12V. So i tried running the spade connectors through the sidelight holders , turned on the sidelights.. and it did work My main...

    HID Help (with pics.)

as great as that would be, it seems like a shed load of work would need to be done! so basically i need an on/off switch inside the car, connected to a relay then to lights/power? or am i wayy off?

    HID Help (with pics.)

Right... either i'm being completely stupid, or this kit is wrong.. i've got a 2002 dynamique, 172 xenons and an aftermarket HID kit. D2S bulb is fine, connects up fine, but i'm completely stumped as to where the hell these connect to?! i feel retarded :o...

    upgrading xenons

http://www.hids4u.co.uk/h7-hids4u-slim-35w-hid-xenon-conversion-kit-pr-165.html Would these not work, or do they Have to be a D2S type bulb to fit? i'm considering doing the same thing...
