I know where your coming from Revels... mine was COMPLETELY standard when I purchased it, was a fun, frustrating, fore filling, even maddening at some times.. But I enjoyed building the car :)
It would be a shame for the car to go to a 17yr old scrote who will write it off in 2 weeks*...

Neil, for removing the tar patches use a heat gun, 100 times easier.. And you end up with a better finish :)

petrol filter is in tank on the 172 cup, do not need to change
