Lol at mute indeed! Clearly typing off the cuff on my phone isn't the best idea

Regards the engine mapping. Yes, we have. There is a thread still on here with 5 cars which had the same cam / map packages which had mapping on them which either did cause significant failure...
I agree with both of you, OP get it down to a decent garage and get it checked. Until you know the problem, deliberating over the potential cause is a mute point.
And once you've diagnosed the problem, unfortunately proving it to be related to a map or any number of things is nigh on...

Hi - please use one of your previous threads and bump it, as opposed to...

I reckon if launched hard, and a...
Alignment, geo and corner weighting - use jtech automotive in Caversham mate. They do all mine. Very, very good. Tell them I sent you and they may sort you out a deal.
Roll centre hubs - they're fine to use on a daily, but it was more from a wear and tear perspective. I.e. If you're doing loads...
Cheers
It is a good circuit, and I'll head back next year. Can be quite technically challenging as well. Goof up one corner and it can throw you off the right line for the next few etc.
Satisfying when you string a decent lap together!
Where has yours gone off to?
I agree that the smoke is caused by oil burning, and I'm afraid OP that could be something terminal.
But saying the map has nothing to do with using oil isn't correct. If it was mapped badly, it may be why the rings have gone hence the oil now making it past them.
Sounds eerily familiar to my...
Just to say, received my tickets today. Top work gents, very professional set up. Thank you!
(Ps. Afraid I'll need to bring a Jerry can, unless the tesco stocks momentum?).
