Thanks :) I literally hoovered the bare metal, wiped over with warm water and then some white spirit and sprayed straight onto it. Its not that hard wearing and will scratch But for £40 i dont mind having to touch it up once every so often!

Picked up cup alternator setup, ph2 rear lights and matched inlets from LewisTaylor this morning :)
Lewis broke the alternator, so got another coming and got the aux belt also :)
Also need to make my radio work as it died when i left lewis's so i had a noisy 90minutes drive home.
Questions...
I bent over the end of the wire on the resistors so it was slightly thicker and they held in really nicely, then taped them down.
Stopped them flicking on and off, as tbh that was more annoying than them being on constant!
My tip- Avoid the racelands.
If you want a 40mm drop and s**t ride get apex springs, they are renowned for being awful and to destroy the handling of the clio. But they are better than the racelands. I speak from experience. However i never paid for either of them so never lost out.
