There's a car in my mates workshop, which coincidentally is actually a V8 Vantage. It's an 2009 plate and it has 5k on it. The tyres are original, all cracked and not MOT worthy. The bloke just couldn't afford to run it all this time. Genuinely.

Given where you are stick to 519. Dan is a seller of the Jenvey/KTR kit. I've personally had a decent experience with TDF in the past too. However firstly they only supply the AT kit which I don't recommend personally and also given recent events I'd have a hard time recommending them unfortunately.
Quite a lot of engines even industrial ones use friction welded valves. I don't think it's really something you have to worry about on these, s**t happens though.

It is but you'd probably end up spending a good penny in the process unless you were any good at fabricating it yourself, and you'd still probably be down on torque. It's more difficult on the ph1 due to the bonnet being lower as well. I wouldn't entertain it at all
