I did have another look at insurance at the new house, but I can't get a reasonable quote for the area :(. I decided to keep the Clio anyway as I've found storage over winter, and like you I've spent a fortune on it.

Not sure what the interval is for Jenvey, I just stick to a rule of every 6 months tbh. It's hard to spot if you're just driving it everyday as it'll be gradual but I've been in a couple before and instantly thought they felt a bit flat. Just need tuning up quickly

RS2 is a good shout on a daily road car yeah, definitely. ITBs aren't exactly problematic but you still have to balance them every so often, and cost of management.

If mapped efficiently ITBs won't see you in terrible economy tbh, depends entirely on how you drive it on a day to day basis though ;) It's definitely hard not to put your foot down lol.

A 1.2 with 106k is quite high. You work on the basis it's going to have worked a lot harder it's whole life. Most of the oil will end up out the exhaust but I'm sure you'll be fine. lol
