Could be worse... Customer of our bought a car, day later s**t a rod, fitted new engine, week later turbo died, fitted a new turbo and the gearbox shat itself a few days after that! Bad month for him!

Shame about all the faults and problems, I have to agree with Russ Rallye though, Ian's workmanship is 2nd to non (I'm sure its the same guy we use, never got to know his name though haha!), every box we have sent there has been faultless..

As above, have a customers car in for a non starting fault, it was fine till he changed the Fuel pressure regulator, he said it started once on the new regulator, never went again, he fitted the old one and it doesnt start any more.. Had a quick look over it, cant see any issues, other than it...

Worst one iv had was on a clio actually... Was stuck solid, hit it that much i smashed all of the disc off and i was left with the part seized to the hub.. Had to cut it off >.<

As has been said, if they passed the car with an obvious defect like a bulb, and someone from the MoT came round and checked the car and found it, the garage would end up with a large fine..

Might not be the same fault but i had a similar thing with my mini, the wire from the coil to the rev counter was dodgy and was stopping it sparking.. If you were closer id come give you a hand..
