Just a cat back ATM mate, made 141 @ the wheels, 173.3 @ the fly, but its the wheel HP im interested in.
also made 149 lb ft of torque, though my AFR's are all over the shop, shows how bad the std map is, so this has to be addressed
Does the sticker give wheel HP or Flywheel HP? lol
well so far i have 141 bhp @ the wheels, within the next 2 moonths i have a target to get to, i want a min of 150 @ the wheels, and im planning to do it for under £200
we had a MK5 Golf come in with heavy tapping noise, well popped the rocker cover off and it had snapped a rocker, smashing it into the rocker cover
So whipped off the head, lots of bent valves and 4 pistons that looked like this
had a good 2 hours of polishing today so here is how she looks:
Also i have borrowed a set of rat OZ's off Nick P (cheers nick) While i re do mine, so here is a pic:
and a pic of my wheels next to nicks to show the colour difference off, im staying...
you wont have to upgrade bits if you do it properly mate, get a progressive controller so it doesnt all come in with one hit, pm MATT BLACK he has run nos on a 172
liking it alot fella, iv always had a soft spot for the ZS, when the VW lupo came out i went on the launch day, and we got to rag a few cars around, and one of the cars to compare the lupo with was a brand new ZS, and i thought it handled superbly
If its just the aux belt then £70 is cheap but do able, this will not include the aux belt tensioner though, as that is £100 on its own, and if it needs changing you really do need it done, so just check the condition with them
i think they are brillaint engines though, induction noise to die for!
k series are a bit hit and miss mate, i have a mate with an elise and hasn't had a problem with it in 50k miles, where as my mates MG ZR 160 he did the HG twice in 40k
lol agreed there mate, the 306 is a cracking...
good plan fella, maybe get rid of the sunstrip and single wiper too? bit 90's now lol
can you post or pm me some more photo's? i think it looks really smart
unless you have the right cutting tools i would get them pro done fella, its not just the inlet faces that get matched, alot more complicated than that
again id say you will have between 142-150 bhp@ the wheels
and yes the inlets are def worth doing
no mine is the same, if use the key it only locks one door.
oh and guys if your key mucks up, you can lock your car, just climb in, leave whichever door open you have a lock on, press the c/l button in the car, then get out, shut the door, and lock the door with key, job done
