R Russ_16v Car 53 Clio's & counting May 16, 2009 #1 we had a MK5 Golf come in with heavy tapping noise, well popped the rocker cover off and it had snapped a rocker, smashing it into the rocker cover So whipped off the head, lots of bent valves and 4 pistons that looked like this
