[Feb 28, 2015] RS Tuning 28th February (Leeds)

I only got mine mapped/RR'd the other week at efi so no real need to go on again. Might pop along if the weathers decent though.

The results above make me like the 187 I got at efi the following week:cool:.

    Meekings Boosted Bean :D

It doesn't look bad but would look 10x better if you put it back to a more OEM look imo.

Cheapest place for Bosch Lambda sensors?

Seen a few threads when searching for around £30-35 mark from 2014. I've been unable to find any at that price now though :(

Cheapest place for Bosch Lambda sensors?

Does anyone know anywhere better to buy Bosch Lambda sensors at the moment? This at £50 is the cheapest I've found so far...

    My 197'd Baked Bean

@Ricardos Your car looks superb. Great example/colour to do what you've done to it!

    My 197'd Baked Bean

@MarcR™ Scoff would be the better one to speak to for the finer details but I had a problem where the pre cat lambda was faulty but still showing a voltage. Whenever he put a base map on the ecu it kept throwing up the emissions light up so looked like it was an issue with the ecu/map...

    My 197'd Baked Bean

Agreed, he's been bloody fantastic with my car. He's bent over backwards to sort out my ecu issue/lambda (red herring) issue's. Absolutely top bloke and top service. Even said he'll rectify any teething problems with the map if need be... I had a look at the results posted in the NW meet thread...

Cheers, good to know we both did well out of it! Doubt I'll be at FCS. I might go to Clio Saturday if I'm not on holiday then.

    My 197'd Baked Bean

Without having a pre RR done to be sure... Going by my old 172 running about 164-5 at RS tuning years ago and going on how they felt and this feels now I'd think it it was running around 175 before so not a bad upgrade tbh:cool:.

    My 197'd Baked Bean

Thought now would be a good time to update this thread with the bean having an eventful couple of months... So leading on from my other thread that got locked... http://www.cliosport.net/threads/devastated.764258/ The good news with that one was that as soon as the insurance saw the cctv...

A bad earth caused this issue with mine last summer.

Alternator belt came off while driving!!

For the price of a new belt you'd be daft not to replace it imo. Sounds like the OP was very lucky!

    Show Your Home Theater

I'd email them before you take it apart. Their customer service is good. They sent me out some foam plugs for my speakers for free when I misplaced mine. Plus if under 6 years old the Sale of Goods Act is your friend!

This is how mines looking at the moment. Could do with an Xbox One and a new amp in the not too distant future.

    Philips Hue and Living colours

You can just buy the lamps and use one of the remotes that come with them to control up to 8 irc. You don't need the bridge although you wont have that disco option (how often would you actually use it other than to show off a bit...!).

    Philips Hue and Living colours

@Jamie86 Or just use the supplied remote like I do.

    Philips Hue and Living colours

Not sure my 3 would look that good lol. The remote is good, very easy to use. I can see it being more effort like using my phone to control my harmony...

@optical, did yours do the 'disco' part before you got the hue?

    Philips Hue and Living colours

OP's are around £90+ each They've come down a lot in recent years. When I 1st got them mine were £160+ unless you grabbed some on black friday or something like I did... Just looked and mine are still £130 on amazon:astonished:

    Philips Hue and Living colours

Yeah brighter and I prefer the look without the band round them (although they still look very nice!) I've got 2 smoked ones and 1 clear. Just looked into it and it seems as long as they have smart link they work which mine have :)

    Philips Hue and Living colours

Yeah, I knew the ultimate can control the hue but didn't know that it transmitted RF. I stuck with mine as they're brighter 15 watt where as yours are 10 watt. With mine been the older model they aren't advertised as working with the hue like yours but I bet they do now after this. Might get...
