Sorry i couldnt make it last night mate :(
Id be tempted to try another crank sensor just to be sure, but if your geting a spark and fuel then there should be no problems with starting.. To me its pointing towards timing slipping so the fuel and spark arnt in coordination... Might be worth...
The other halfs mother has dropped her iphone in the a cup of tea.. im not sure of the details yet but will there be any way of getting the photos etc off if it not longer turns on?
Thats what im loving about mine.. I can have a proper conversation without having to shout over the exhaust.. Mine is slowly falling off, and finding a good replacement without going into daft numbers is difficult :(
Ud think so mate, but i lowered a friends R32 and the rack died... After some research its apparently quite common, any sudden shocks to the rack kills them... Seems a bit of a design flaw tbh..
I it goes you need Hercules muscles to steer it...
If i was you id buy 2 new track rod ends aswell... And if you can warm the hub up so you dont have to knock it too hard... Basically just minimise the amount of knocking on things as possible and you shouldnt have any problems.. If you do its circa £1k for a rack from VW iirc...
Getting the shocks out of the hubs can be a massive pain.. Id take the whole hub off and do it that way.. Any sudden shocks/knocks to the steering/suspension can cause rack failiure.. Iv been there :(
