Found some front shocks in my shed for my 172 . If the damper compresses all the way down and does not rebound up that does mean there broken?

Fitted my sub yesterday and only really pushed it today , when turn my head unit up the sub seems to cut out , ive earthed to the seat belt buckle , cleaned the metal also . Any ideas?

Today is discovered that my mpg drops on idle i was getting 32 mpg once i was driving but left on idle for about 10 mins it went down to 19 mpg is this normal or is somthing wrong thanks

How can i tell if my subframe is bent ? Hit a kerb earlier cant see anything obvious wishbones seem to be fine same gap beetween wheel and arch etc , or will i have to measure things to see if one sides diffrent to the other ? Cheers.
