I honestly don't mind giving each a quick spin and letting you know my opinion on which to go for a drive in :)

consider a car cover? enough of a deterrent to make it awkward to key your car and i dont mean to be rude but if they are going to do it, they will go for someone elses instead. alternatively if they do have a vendetta against you then the faffing about of a car cover might slow them down...

when I bought my car it had already split (registered dec. 04 / 24k miles) so I had it welded under warranty. 7~ months (30k miles~) later when I changed the cat and cat back there was a chunk missing rather than just the split.

I have changed my exhaust recently and the 'spider' mounts at the back are perishing a little.. so I stuffed them up with garden hose but it's still a little bit lower than I would like Would it be sufficient to replace the mounts directly from renault (anyone know an approx. cost?) Or does...

when you turn the car on it usually says 'oil ok' if your oil is low it will just say 'oil' and it will also flash when you initially turn your car on and it is displaying either oil ok or just oil, reach into your dash and push that button coming out the speedo and it will display your oil...

Can you just ring up the garage and give them your reg and they will tell you if it needs doing?

yeah...the silver 8 spoke ones most have? though this car was a kind of petrol blue colour and had the darker grey wheels!

just a quick Q: is the 182 meant to have a plastic splitter under the front bumper? It is just mine has never had one, but I took my dad to Fords of Windsor yesterday and they had a 182 which looked pretty standard and included a splitter! Has the previous owner just fitted a plastic one to...

172 and 182's are all 16 (except the 182 trophy which is 17) and the 197's are all 15 according to parkers.

fitting an exhaust is easy, personally i found getting the old one off harder, if you have a friend with a car lift it might make it easier though

someone on my facebook has just had their car torched in the same area, i would be thinking about public transport at this point
