I love having a multi monitor setup, i only did it because I had spare/old screens about but to be fair if you have the chance to give it a go I bet you wouldn't go back
the PC input on my TV is exactly the same as the PC input on my monitor so you could use the same cable or rob one from an old monitor if you have one (if you want to use both screens at once, otherwise the cable you have will probably work)
I would advise you to try and find the make/model of your camera and try and get the appropriate software/drivers
look for serial numbers on the bottom etc and stick them in google if youre really stuck
Don't know too much about cameras but if that doesn't work you might need to invest in a...
I've just bought a Vista laptop, come Monday, I'm sure I'll be back here...
I tried to install Vista on my desktop when I built it, but it would just not find my network with any of the half a dozen wireless adapters I have lying around (too far away to cable) oddly it found my neighbours but...
I think GTR 2 is more of a sim, GTR evo is more of an arcade game, but that is my opinion, I'm sure there are demos on the net, each to their own!
not really and its not on PS3, just PC
mint find, the reason I have been nosing at the G25 was the PS3/PC all in one job, not too bothered about...
dunno why a fair amount of people seem to think that if it can't play crysis it's not that great
my PC is 'around half' the spec you have posted there and it can play fallout and the latest cod with no problem (on good looking settings) so with your spec you are laughing mate. good buy.
me too, I stuck a mates vodaphone sim in because his battery had died and it worked.
i wouldn't like to speak with any authority on the subject but perhaps he is just listing it as locked to cover his back if something doesnt work.
yeah you should get away with that.
you will have to right click on my computer and go to properties, click on computer name tab and change your computer name to something easy (like Timmay)
then do the same on your work pc and make sure the workgroup on the PC's are the same
next make a...
youre sort of downloading the same thing
there is vb2008 which is the full thing
the trial is what you are getting
the studio express is a cut down version, which is also free (which is aimed at people like you - trying to learn!)
I'd stick with your book then try and do things that you want...
im not 100% sure if this is right but...
i am assuming: if you borrow that cable and connect the 2 pc's you'd have to make your 2 pc's in the same workgroup
but
if you have a server at work, your work pc will belong to a domain making that a pain in the backside for your IT guy to put back...
heh, we will see.
on top of that i wonder how many people will consciously get the correct update to fix this problem (i assume some people will just windows update and not check what they have fixed)
i also await emails in my inbox claiming to have a link to the fix
I thought I was suffering from cold weather MPG but then I realised my Dad has been asking for VAT receipts of a certain amount so I have only been filing up to 90%
no wonder I am not doing as many miles per tank as usual...duhhhhhh
ive got some paperwork from work, some golf clubs and my football boots/goalie gloves.
the parcel shelf rattles more than the gear in the back so i dont really care
pretty much, was going to say its not reinstalling windows itself that is a big job it's putting all your applications/games/carrying files over which can cause a ball ache of a job!
Did you look through your start up items to see if anything suspicious was there?
Also as someone said you might want to update drives in safe mode/disable as much hardware as you can in device manager and slowly turn it on until something causes a lock up.
as an aside we use 90% dell...
safe mode > start > run > type 'msconfig' > startup tab
you have a choice now:
you can either untick everything, and your comp should start working, then you can tick one by one until your comp breaks again and then you know whats breaking it
or
you can google each item and try and work out...
tbh the first thing I would do if you want to have a go at fixing it yourself is get it booted up in safe mode (keep pressing F8 when its booting up) that would at least say your HDD is working fine and you have a software fault somewhere
and have a snoop around for anything odd. If you want...
