there was no point in posting that, because you have 2 categories of people who will read it, 1) those who don't understand, and will just ignore it, because it is not relevant to the problem what so ever. and 2) Those who do understand it, already knew.
anywho to fix your problem, you should...
do you have USB slots on the front and back of the case?
What I am guessing at is if you try the opposite side, then if there is a short, perhaps the other circuit on the other side wont be damaged and won't short.
and what the people here mean by drivers is that windows will have a driver for...
i have a 4 year old 182 with 35k miles on it. I've done about 10k of those.
It needed a new exhaust when I bought it (local renault garage wanted 1000! so I think thats why it was for sale lol) and I accidently let the pads get down to the metal so I upgraded them. That's the only problems, I...
just a question, you specified you want a USB keyboard, any particular reason? It's just you can't plug anything else into the PS2 slots apart from keys/mouse, so it makes sense not to use up a USB slot when you could avoid it.
But I'm sure you have a reason if you specified it.
i have a vista laptop and a xp desktop and a router to network them with, the strange thing is i didnt even have to set the work groups they just found each other. weird but handy
thanks, i got my chassis number from the doc, but it says 'engine number: unknown'
as this is for insurance purposes, do you think if I provide a photo copy of the reg doc to prove it's unknown that will be acceptable? I will call them and ask i guess
my new insurance policy people have decided they want me to declare my engine number and frame (i assume chassis) number, but where abouts do i find it?
Thanks!
sorry to hi-jack the thread but i have a question which i believe is relevant.
if your car is not standard, do you need a custom map to be provided, if so how does one go about getting one? (specifics to my car, the mods are induction kit, exhaust (sports cat/cat back) and matched inlets)
i was thinking of taking it for a quote and seeing if the risk was worth it or not.
as much as it is something i would like to learn, if i fluff it up im sure i would be even more unhappy than forking out 1-200 quid.
cheers tho
I am a plank and managed to scuff my bumper last night.
I have never really done any body work repairs like this before so I am looking for advice on what I need to do with this:
most of it isn't too bad, the section near the reg plate is pretty deep though.
sooooo p!ssed off with myself...
i spent a grand insuring my 182 when i was 21/2yrs NCD. Personally I treated my 1.0 corsa like a piece of crap and didn't invest in it at all, in order to devote funds into buying a 182.
It's up to you though I suppose
I went out with my biker friends and one of them said when he was behind me he could hear my car popping along, he didn't mention flames though.
He also said he couldn't hear his bike over my noise :D
come back and post your quote, you will be an insight into my renewal next year :D
and i kid you not, although I assume N.I.G. is probably more accurate
for me, it is that time of year again where I have to do my insurance renewal :(
so I shopped around and most of the quotes I could get my hands on we round or about £900+
I gave mr flux a call and they can do me a quote for £757, which is for a 182, 21y/o, 3yrs NCD, mods...
