I had the same when I sold my MG.. Few weeks later I got a reminder for road tax!!! Wrote a letter to DVLA saying I sold the car and gave them the name and date.. never heard anything again...
I am with RAC and have not had any probs with them so far.. The wheel bearing went on my old car, they came out within 30 mins and fixed it on the roadside, then he followed me all the way home to make sure I got home safely. :)
yeah it is still under warranty cause it has been in for some warranty work.. But will still phone renault for a letter confirming this..
Spoke to DVLA, got to send the log book back to them with a covering letter and they will make the changes..
Even after all this my car is still fab and...
no mine hasnt got locking wheel nuts either... got a feelin I have been mugged off here :mad:
Insurance has now been changed, it went up another £7.00 for the year which I can cope with....
On to DVLA tommorow to see about getting the log book changed..

just checked the V5 and all it says is renault clio sport, the previous keeper lived in weybridge.. another thing i noticed is the v5 says 2 previous keepers?? I am the second,, not unless it was the garage...

I bought the car from a garage in Surrey (not a renault dealer) I am the second owner.. When I insured the car on my certificate it shows as a 172, when it is a 182??? I phoned dvla who confirmed that the car is a renaultsport 182 and confirmed the engine size etc which is correct.. So I phoned...
They do look good.. My dad had one on his motorbike, but after two days a copper pulled him over and told him to change it back or he would be fined and have points on his licence.
I would have loved to have had a car like yours for my first car.. I had an old 1.0 fiesta that wouldnt start if it had been raining :o , mind you it was my first car and I still loved it to bits...:D
My friend has just bought a clio the same as yours (in black) and she is really chuffed with it..
So far I have had to have the traction control and abs sensor replaced, But least it was covered by the warrenty.. The automatic windscreen wipers can be a pain as well sometimes...:approve: but it doesnt put me off the car!!!! :D
