cheers jonathon i dont think id be able to make one without having one to copy off
and as far as im aware my alpine hasnt got a connector on the back for a remote so i dont know how it would work

the factory alarm can be switched off it might just be turned off
the key switch is uder the scuttle next to the washer bottle
thats if uve got the key i havent got mine and it might of been switched off cos it was knacked anyway

well thinkin bout it a pad with a hard compound would give least dust but only work well when they get some heat in em
soft pad would work well from cold but give lots of dust
unless any1 knows differant

you cant compare a 1.6 16v clio2 to a 1.8 16 v clio 1
i KNOW when i see a valver it stands out
a 1.6 16v was just not in the same league i went to look at one wanting a newer car but valver just lot better i wasnt impressed with it

clio 2 1.6 16v ok could just do wiv a 2.0 engine lol
clio1 1.8 16v lots of fun bit harder tracking down a decent one and would prob cost ya more to run than the clio 2
but i kno wot id rather have!

there really nice cars theres nuthin in it between my mates and my valver
only problems hes had are leaking sunroof (not small leak neither) and the alarm doing funny things and a few starting problems
and the pedals are rediculously close togetha
and looking at the 2 cars his is in...

mine took a few days to sort it self out and adjust up properly
i was also told that the adjuster wears out
it will prob sort itself though mine did when i got in after changing the cable i had trouble engaging gears unless i had my foot right to the floor but a few days later it was back...

erm had a mess with it and seems quite accurate except it wont do 60 in second gear
which means you lose a bit of time on the gearchange, are them gear ratios definately right
