i was going to get it from letsbuycaraudio but the car audio centre in manchester said theyd match the price so i went and picked it up
ive not had a proper play with it yet but first impressions are good ive still only got standard speakers at the minute but the quality is excellent...
mines dropped 40mm on standard wheels, ride quality still ok and i cant say its improved the handling loads better turn in and less body roll but the standard set-up was quite stiff anyway

erm i got my alpine 7893 yesterday and the manual is the same for the 7893 and 7894
the only differance i can see is an extra pre out and a remote and it being silver because mine has a built in x-over and time correction
you are supposed to run a lead into the battery because its a high...
im buyin the 7893 cos i think its a good buy especially for an alpine and mp3
for the extra 120 quid you get a remote, digital time correction, and a built in x- over, and a nice silver colour
imho i dont think its its worth the extra cash just for the look, the remotes worth havin but ive...
has anybody seen one of these adapters or got one
how do they connect up to the stereo, does it plug into the loom from the stereo or does it plug into somewhere else on the back of the head unit
if its only a connector and wires which it prob will be i wonder if the local stereo dealer...
im not payin 80 quid for one but halfords arnt the cheapest of places it cant be much more than just a lead which when i last looked was plastic connectors and wire

after looking trough these sites cos i want an alpine cd/mp3 headunit
http://www.letsbuycaraudio.comwww.letsbuycaraudio.com is cheapest at 239.00
then its http://www.cel-direct.comwww.cel-direct.com 249.00
all the others were around 280 and the rrp for it is 325 quid
if its a 16v theres not a lot of stealth to it is there, people are expecting a quick car already
the badges are expensive anyway unless you can get a grafix company to do you them but theyd need some to copy off
lol when i looked at that orion forum i noticed that one of em had 3000 posts i was gonna say wot a sad bstard spending all his time on there
glad i kept me mouth shut now but then again clio forum is lots more respectable than an onion one:)
oh dear who let the porche driver on
im just off to the robin reliant forum to tell them that my cars much faster than theres and theyve never be able to afford one
ok we know youve got a nice car and id really like one but do you need to tell everyone about it to boost your ego!
16s with 195/45/16 tyres will keep the overall rolling diameter the same so acceleration and speedo wont change
17s will affect it a bit but not loads you may get a bit of rubbing if lowered, if you want no hassle go for the 16s

does anybody know if you can get a lead so the steering column control will work with an alpine headunit
you can definately get one for sony and i think kenwood do one aswell
the wobbly speedo is caused by speedo drive cable
i think there was a post about this on rsc forum not so long ago
i think sum1 put a post up like brun said it gets kinked and doesnt move smoothly
i wouldnt bother unless its really bad mine does it a bit but goes away over 40mph...
