When you say proper diagnostic danny what do you mean? snap on, mac ect? Im getting similar poor mpg when running around although good on motorway. have just changed lamda which has helped a bit but still quite poor

Mine idles roughly when warm since cambelt done and timing corrected, thius sound right danny? does seem to go better though

So danny what your saying is when they have been wrong then corrected they seem to idle badly?

Been out for a run on motorway, at roughly 70mph on trip was showing 40 to 41.5 mpg but temp was running just under half even after 20 min. Only came up to half way when I increased to over 80 mph.

Fuel consumption on my Phase 2 172 seems quite low compared with what other members are getting. low 20s around down with careful driving, rising to around 30 on a run. It has recently been serviced and had cambelt kit ect. But didnt really improve much whilst being serviced garage checked...

Had ployflex on previous car, did stop movement but did add vibration so thats why I would like to stay standard. Obviously I realise I can order one from renault. But didnt know if anyone could recomend anybody else?
