You've had a box back from a rebuild and it's leaking. First thing they should of said if you've told them that over the phone is bring it back in. Any thing else and they're not worth a grain.
When I got mine back from mapping my starter was fried. As said the little spade terminals corrode, might start occasionally. You should hear the solenoid click loudly and try to engage. If not the solenoid might be stuck. Smack the starter with something
sure why not, bring your bore scope with you or pay whoever the extra to take the head off as well just for piece of mind. Should be part of every cambelt change really
Not sure if srs
The moment I buy a Megane it would be straight down to TDF lol. It always seems greener on the other side of the fence in fairness, but I think for the money they go for now a decent Ph1 172 is the best bang for buck hatch you can buy on the market all round
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
They look a lot better in the flesh, I didn't want to go black again, they're a nightmare...and also mainly for Vauxhalls and foreigners:o.
Go well with white though Lewis :rasp:.
iPhone pics are fan-tastic . See, even the 50s pickup in the background has red...
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
I think it's because my geo is now out a bit in fairness. And yes to the side walls, I thought the Spec 2s were bad for that.
These are another set I've accumulated! I still have the red ones, going to wrap them in some decent rubber when funds allow.
On what car? Wouldn't you come to the conclusion there was something wrong with said car. GT cams should make similar power to 428s, which should hit 190s (and I can't stress the last part enough) if they're fitted correctly
Rob could be right on the crank sensor especially if it's ok occasionally on restart. I know my cars not exactly a great example but when I had the Omex Zetec crank sensor the car would misfire at mid / high RPM and if you sat long enough in traffic it would cut out, start up again and be fine...
I was doing a bit of research last month and I think it's generally just a good bit of difference in audio and video quality mate. Fair difference in price so you'd expect there to be anyway
I've had 2 go in under 2 weeks. LOL
One was 2 years old and died on the dyno, the other one was a 10 year old cup one so not all that amazing. They are fairly s**t though
