Take them for a little drive to remove the rust. Don't let the brakes get too hot.
Remove the wheels, wrap and tie a plastic bag around each brake, poking four holes in the bag for the wheel bolts.
Put the wheels back on, stand back and admire your work.
Hi and welcome.
My dads old do 65 was the slowest thing in the world. It was however, a proper drift slut. (Which is partly why it's no longer with us)
The 80 iirc has a bigger intercooler, turbo and injectors over the 65 getting the extra power.
I don't know whether the 100 is just a remap...
Hi and welcome.
As said, don't spend too much money modifying it. Keep it serviced, keep the tyres and brakes good and get some experience.
I was in your position a few years back, spent/lost hundreds on modifying my old 1.4 before buying an out of the box faster, nicer looking and better...
I'd be going down to b&ms or home bargains and getting one of those iPhone/Bluetooth/aux speaker towers and either plonking it in the corner or wall mounting it
Something like this, but for £30 odd...
They are truly rocketing.
That's why I was looking at them lol.
Last year iirc one was bought for £15k, sold this year for £21k iirc and is now up for £30k!
It is a minter, but they are properly shooting up in price.
Thoughts?

Winning seats and suspension, but dat exhaust!
I think something may be wrong with the car, it shouldn't torque steer really.
Is your suspension standard? No knocking or play in any suspension components?
Beaten by two minutes!
Right, according to the poll, Friday would be best (sorry dan, beer again on sat night?)
I'll ring up and book a table for Friday around 7:30pm, is this ok for erryone?
Not so much offended, they like to be the first to point out optimistic figures.
A 182 making 182bhp is considered a very strong engine.
They tend to make 165-175 and 197/200s tend to make 180-185
