Lets be realistic. Clio. Why? You will ALWAYS spend more time with it on the road than on the track, therefore the Clio is the obvious choice as it's a much better daily. Auto, 5 doors, fuel economy, size. Anyone who chooses the Megane doesn't actually want or need a decent daily.

There is a lot of documented issues with the Mk4 Media Navs and the fact you can't stream music properly as the unit can't cope... My Wife's Nav S (2015) does it, she doesn't really mind it as it 'mainly' works but it f***s me right off! I'm looking into Mk4 RS' and want to get one in the...

Actually you've messed with my maths there! I hadn't actually spec'd one up until just now and my man maths make even more sense. You can a nice 200T for £9000, thats over £15000 saving on a 3 year old car! Even a PH1 Trophy is 'only' £13000!
