I might be down in the afternoon, I am not fussed about running the car, just getting it there will be a big enough achievement at this rate.. but we shall see.
I know, I hit a few issues last night.. if I can sort them tonight and tomorrow morning I will head over in it. It will be a nice shake down for the car so fingers crossed.
He might spray some glitter on it!! Looks like it isn't going to make the trip out tomorrow, not unless I really can pull my finger out. It might make it down in the afternoon :/
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
Update..
Well over the past few weeks I took sometime off from working on the car as I was starting to loose my motivation for going down nearly every night.. not to mention my wallet was becoming thinner by the day.
However during this time a few things have...
The 106 might be running.. it started last night, so we shall see. However I am suppose to be helping a friend out who is competing at Goodwood at the southdown stages.. I won't know untill Friday night if I will be coming along or not.
A friend of mine s parting company with his MK1 focus RS. I can vouch and say the car is super clean, I would love it, however I have served my time with Fords and don't fancy another.

Loose the side skirts and the 17's and your on to a winner.. However the styling doesn't surprise me considering the place you bought it from!
I have seen this around in the past thought, I think the previous owner attended a few of the Camberley meets in the past.
Looking at the specs of the d610 I would go for that if you are tied to a budget or I would consider a secondhand d800? save a little extra cash up, its worth the extra ££. I have given mine a pasting this last year and its by far the best move I ever made.
Looks awesome, makes me want to own a Teg! A friend of mine works at TGM sport who race and tune Hondas and I have been out in a few of the supercharged and turbo'd dc5's and they are monsters. The k20 leans itself well towards being supercharged.
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
Cheers dude, I can't wait to try it out, car should be road worthy again in a couple of weeks.
The fan/heater I am using is the 2.2kw micro heater - http://www.t7design.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=65&zenid=7f4eb5a6b9c5be59e857ca01471738f6

Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Looking good dude, will be good to see an engine back in it. Loving the garage!
Any particular reason you haven't decided to just run new brakes lines in copper or braided instead of fitting the cup ones? I can only assume the cost.
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
Lots of progress made over the past few days...
remounted the heater in to the dash and got it piped up.
I cut a new dash panel to replace the glovebox and also got the bits fitted to the centre dash panel.
I then got the cage fitted, which went in very...
