Premiums are a joke at the moment, though as above the money you'll spend on the conversion getting it spot on, you might as well have saved up and bought an insured a Ph1.
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
lol indeed. And cut down and shrink wrapped by the master himself. I've just noticed my vvt solenoid is leaking oil again. Woooo \o/
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
You may! x
Not as bad as you might think, I've not had a problem when I've had to use it in the mornings. Depends how good the rest of your rubbers are though ;)
LOL It's a great toy James but it's not half as hardcore as yours! It's not really meant to be...
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
Thanks Jonny. Really interested to see what numbers it makes this time round with a healthy engine. It'll all be worth it in the end, it's just been too long lol.
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
Yes patience is something I'd like :D. Thankfully I've manged to sell on a few bits and get the rest of the cash together. Car is going in to TDF this coming Saturday for the final engine work:
New engine loom
EC1 engine management
Mapping
Fitment of B14...
As above the whole point of SSDS is to break past the bottleneck that using a conventional hdd has on a system. Performance is everything. And yes DK not really talking about business at all.
You'd be surprised how noticeable it is, especially when you're getting decent throughput. The new intel c600 makes putting then in RAID worthwhile as its a great chipset.
DK, it just defeats the object entirely right now. Maybe in a few years
Swiss cheese.. Mmm. Looking good!
Lewis why don't you just get the thermomolded windows from P4P. They go into the original sliders like normal windows. Ive got them and they're perfect.
Should of gone for some ph1 dials, the white is nice but that font looks like something from Thundercats. Sorry but they belong in a Honda concept and nothing else
Can't you make your mind up what to spend your money on or something? LOL. Putting SSDs in RAID1 is completely pointless. Just make sure you back-up else where.
No-one tests the standards properly these days anyway RAID0 on SATA 3:
if they're the stock jobbies and not the 'blues' (blues are great fast road pads, probably one of the best but expensive as fook) then they're on par with OE stuff really, it's all pattern. No better or worse off
I read the spelling in title and thought hang about, why is he breaking it if it's sailed through an MOT ;)
Mintex 1444s and brembo high carbons for a road car! Or just OE stuff really, OE stuff is fine on a standard road car
Car looks great mate, even if it does always seem to give you grief!
1ltr in 2k isn't TOO bad but ideally you shouldn't be using any. It is a Renault though. Any indication of it coming out the back? No residue on the windscreen or anything? You didn't have a bottom end rebuild did you?
