Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
The Formula1.com free app is excellent, glad I resisted buying the £20 app. All that adds is a 3D map of where the drivers are and from the iTunes reviews that's not very accurate.
The app was great during the closing laps to see if anyone would catch Vettel.
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
Official FIA F1 2010 Application which is free rather than the somewhat more expensive version also available

TT v1.2 & v1.3 have been excellent and IMHO provide the best routing of all the sat nav options I have tried.
V1.3 made a already great option even better.
v1.3 of TomTom installed, some nice new additions.
What's new
- HD TRAFFIC: The best traffic information available today - for the fastest route every time and the most accurate arrival time estimate. Available via in app purchase.
1 Day: £0.59
1 Month: £4.99
3 Months: £11.49
12 Months...
That's more than long enough for me :D
Just had a quick play, not really sure wtf is going on half of the time but the auto battle function removes the need to think about what I'm actually doing.
I read that the tutorial element of the game can last up to 25 hours of gameplay!!! Apparently the entire game can take 60 hours of gameplay to complete. I doubt I'll ever complete it so I do not have to worry about replay value.
Nice update. Lots of people upset at the absence of the safety car and formation lap. Possibly the game does not feature tyre temperature performance differences or assumes that all cars on the grid are at optimum temperature for race start.
