you can drill a hole into casing of non-cup box in order to fit mechanical speedo drive, have done it once, (cracked casing replacement) best off finding one with mechanical drive though as a right faff drilling hole at exact angle

this is how my car started out as a standard authentique, that i bought bumped off ebay it then recieved a slight bit of treatment it was then all painted up and colour coded with laguna sport alloys and the addition of window tint, megane splitter and front fog lights...
