Ive noticed that sometimes when someone is driving the other way with xenons on, it looks like they are flashing their lights. I think its a bit sh*t tbh, it sometimes looks like people are flashing you out of junctions and stuff when theyve just gone over a bump! Can be dangerous.
Ive fitted a new gaitor to mine with the original surround. Cant remember exactly what it looks like at the mo, but its quite tidy. Ill see if I can get a pic for you later.
Yellow is probably the negative (its usually the lightest colour IIRC). Youll need to get some more speaker wire and extend the current wires using bullet connectors. Then attach these to your speakers.
Thats the stuff you want to be using. But TBH if your after a smooth finish on the fibreglass then your gonna be in for a looooong job. Especially if your then thinking of painting it, or even just covering it with leather/vinyl. The surface will need to be absolutely smooth, which means using a...
Ok, thanks fellas. Im only going to be using them for about 6 months, thats why it was important that I could get it monthly. Also theyre quotes were by far the cheapest for me, I think the reason for that is because Im 20 and most places wont even touch me on the cars Im trying to get quotes for!:(
Ok cheers. Slightly conflicting views. TBH I was always under the impression that they didnt allow monthly payments, but it seems daft not to have that function nowadays. Guess Ill just have to give em a ring tomorrow.
Rick
No probs, glad youve sorted it. Although Im suprised the earth you had on the seat bolt was so bad that it wouldnt even power on. Anyways, like I said 9/10 times its a bad connection, at least youll now know what to look out for next time.
Just been getting a couple of quotes off elephant.co.uk
Do they allow you to pay monthly? It doesnt seem to say whether you can or not on their site.
cheers
Yep, thatll do the job. Youll need to use a few layers of it tho. Itll never be as good as the Dynamat extreme, but its certainly a fair alternative to the regular Dynamat IMO.
The orange will look amazing in summer. Especially if you get it as bright as the one in the pic. The silver/blue would be my last choice TBH, but its your call!
Yeah, I think the S1600 rally cars have some kinda special funky lights on them. You can probably buy them, but I doubt theyll be cheap.
BTW the pic is 500k for anyone on dial up!
Also remember, its perfectly normal to have these problems when you first install an amp! Weve all been there and 9/10 times it a faulty connection or something similar.
So long as the earth lead is bolted to something thats bare metal, and attahced to the bodywork you should be fine. A bad earth normally manifests itself in bad sound quality rather than not working at all. First thing Id do is check the fuses on the power cable and on the amp. Then go through...
What do you mean theres no power going to it if the LED is on? The amp is getting power all the time from your power cable, if there are lights on the amp it means its turned on, so I would assume your remote wire is also ok. If it was a really bad earth, then youll probably be noticing a...
Err, the fiver gets you more than just an avatar! For starters, youre entitled to a whole host of discounts on modifying bits and pieces, youre also contributing to the money it costs to keep this forum up, and most importantly you get a fantastic Cliosport pen!
Its only a fiver...
Your best bet is probably to speak to Chris at Southend Carnoisseur. (Assuming theyre still going, havent spoken to him for a while.) Anyway he did a really good deal on my alloys, although TBH, alloys + tyre packages generally dont have too big a markup on them so theres a limit to how much you...
Well, the clio aint exactly great on standard suspension. Get a decent suspension kit on, and it turns into a go kart. Hell still beat you in a straight line tho.
Ive got some clear oval side repeaters on mine. Ive taken off the plastic bit that was there before with the RT bit on it. You can kind of see them on my avatar, err, sort of.
