Well I know its not to everyone's taste, I know there are many campus haters out there :rasp:
Anyways gave it a clean over the weekend and finally had some spare time to get some pics hence why its a tad dirty. Fitted some springs the weekend before which have given it a much better drop to my...
hmm.. I paid first year £1500 for my 1.2, this year i am paying just under £800 with mods declared.
You can pick up some second hand lowering springs for around £50-£70 ish quid but i really think some nice wheels and colour coding would be a good start.
Matt
I really think a plain colour would look much better or keep it silver looks nice as it is. When the time comes to sell, you may struggle if you go covering it in weird graphics.
Keep it as it is in my opinion.
Can't complain about mine. Keeps up with my friends mk1 1.6 focus with no worries. by no means is the focus standard either. Great first car! I know its not a super car but makes driving fun enough.
I wish i had coilovers. just got 60mm springs fitted, Along with a nice home made strut brace have got rid of most of the body roll and it feels much better now.
James your car looked smart mine needs a wash. Could maybe have a lil mini meet and get some pics etc. Just got a new flash gun for...
Was indeed me. need another meet soon, thought it was a 182. but it was a 1.poo woop! Your car is looking well. I have just lowered mine down to 60mm and fitted hoemade rear strut brace.

At the end of the day, its not the...
I am thinking more along the lines of insurance and ease tbh. when you say tax will stay the same you mean at 1.2 price?
The reason i want to go 1.6 is because as far as i know you don't have to change all the running gear apart from brakes. I maybe wrong but its what I have been told.
You...
I know there are many threads about engine conversions etc but i have some questions so i can take it in to serious consideration.
Well I currently i have a 2007 clio campus sport 1.2 16v. I would consider buying an RS but i really want something different.
I have considered saving and...
I have a cat back system on mine which only cost round £190 off ebay. Its rather loud but has a nice note to it.
It pops in nearly every gear when changing up and even down on occasions. i will try and get a video up of it and a possible link for ebay. It comes with a life time warranty also...
Mine make some funny noises and have a very small bend. If they are meant to be the jacking point then they are made of cheese.
I now do what Jay does and Jack the car up from a point on the chassis.
I Would personally go with 35/40 mm springs, i have dropped mine by 35mm and it looks smart and its more than practical. But i am going to lower it 40mm on apex springs just for the little extra and it means you dont have to change your shocks.
If you are interested in in some 35mm springs all...
i am really loving the look of these and I maybe able to pick up some cheapm with tyres etc.
the only thing that is bugging me is the offset and if the wheel will rub the shock or petrude the arch. It does mention the width is 6j?
any help would be great...
