Quick question really. I know the first control is for the wipers and option 1 is for auto wipers. The control on the end is for rears. So what does the middle one do ? I know it something to do with the auto wipers but when they selected as I always leave auto wipers on turning that dial...

You put 2 litres in! Isn't it a litre between the lower and upper mark on the dipstick? So 2 litres to fill it half way up the dipstick means you had next to no oil in it ? Lucky if that hasn't done some damage...

It is just after the middle box. A rod comes off and then sits in a rubber hanger. If you look under the car on the drivers side looking at the middle box it is at the back.

Only mounts are the 2 rear, the plate mount between the back and middle box and then the one on the centre section.

Nah the bolts holding the mounts on are not that. 3 bolts per mount and then follow the guide on how to make the powerflex ones

£12 each to get them ultrasonically cleaned. Be careful removing them as they can get stuck.

Remove the heat shield. I took mine off months ago as the same happened to me. As for the months with my KTec exhaust I went through a pair of mounts every 2 weeks. Get a set of powerflex mounts, there is a guide on here how to make them ...

Looks ok inside but I know that isn't exactly a technical way to diagnose a CAT

Fitted a 182 manifold and decat onto my mates 172, didn't make any noticeable difference.

Isn't fucked as my car passed emission on that CAT !!
