Depends what you mean by FSH, stamps in a book from Renault aren't really that important, partly because there too far apart for what these engines need and partly because Renault are utterly useless and shouldn't be allowed to touch your car, what you want is an owner that's kept the receipts...
Also that service schedule is what to look for when buying one, if you buy from a member on here it should have been looked after, usually from the way they word an advert and how much info they provide will tell you if it's been looked after or not.
As long as you change the oil at least once a year, belts done every 5 years, these engines will carry on being strong way past 100k miles, I got mine at 50k when it was 5 years old, it's now 14 years old and is on 104k and it's as strong and reliable as it ever was.
Working in posh f*cker land again today, saw a yellow Gallardo Spider, an orange McLaren MP-12C, an Aston Martin Rapide, every Rolls Royse there is in one of their dealerships and drove past a McLaren dealership where they had two MP-12C's, one of them a spider which just looked incredible.
Working at Tatton park today, which as it turns out is surrounded by very posh houses, very rich people and high end car dealerships, so just today I saw : Ferrari 355, 458 Italia, Brabus G Wagon outside a car dealership with a price tag of £135k, new right hand drive Mustang GT, Morgan of some...
The Salvation Army. lol
I'd have paid money to see him try and give you a slap, mouthy tw*t vs a bloke that was in the RAF regiment, i'd have got a deck chair and popcorn out for that one.
Not keen on the wheels if i'm being honest, but that's like saying I don't like the shoes Alex Jones wore on the one Show last night, i'd still rag the f*ck out of her.
The 98ron map idles at 1100rpm on cold start, then drops to 950 when up to temp, the other way of checking is seeing where your rev limiter is in each gear, but the idle test is less stressful on the engine.
As for manually adjusting the idle, this thread is the first time i've ever heard it...
So do I, but then they're funny, the two Binky blokes aren't.
Doesn't stop me enjoying the build, it's just a bit cringy, like that family member that thinks he's a stand up comedian, when in reality he's just embarrassing and everyone wishes he'd stop.
If you've got the 98ron map it should be idling at 950 when warm not 850, plus it should have sorted out the lumpy idle, i've got exactly the same mods as you and mine's smooth as silk. (relatively speaking)
Yeah, best sounding car they've ever had, plus I liked how ratty it was, they literally only had what was needed to make it work, once they put the Hellcat engine in it the car lost it's soul.
