Well next time you're on the red I dare you to put a tenner in for a 100mile trip ;)
What size tank do the 1*2s have?
Edit: I discovered they are 50litres :)
Official combined MPG figure is 35, which would mean around 85 miles per £10.
Official urban MPG figure is 25, which would me around 60 miles per £10.
Assuming petrol is 90p.
This is interesting, especially because I used to own a 106 Rallye, which is also a limited edition car.
Externally and visually I wouldn't do anything at all.
In my experience the 106 Rallyes for sale with standard wheels/decals would always get attention, whereas ones without standard...
Saw this mincing around this evening perhaps 8pm-ish firstly by BarMed/HSBC and then opp. Censo.
I had to contain my excitement as I was on a date :dead:
I am on foot if near the Uni :)
I see a lot of silver RS's about, but not yours!
I saw a Goridini once nearer Bournemouth centre, but the black one definitely had some sort of smaller/personalised reg. plate.
Very nice!
I've always wanted to drive around France, or perhaps Geneva, like in Goldfinger.
By coincidence I saw a french left hand drive 106 S16 this morn with French plates and a french-looking driving, who looked a little like Sacha Baron Cohen's, Jean-Gerrard.
It was interesting to read the post by the Greenlight guy recently regarding 1.2 v 1*2 insurance..

I was getting fed up of Windows and wanted to try a Linux-based OS.
Somebody at work gave me the Ubuntu CD and I've set my laptop up in dual boot now so that I can choose either on startup.
Unfortunately though I'm using Windows again. Ubuntu was fine, but everything is just easier with Windows.
Rallye/Gti is hardly "different story".
Same set up, just slightly lighter - it's mostly about increased feel.
They are cool, but the Clio is a tad smaller and with more power.
The 306 is cheaper to buy, but mpg is apparently poor, and cambelt problems can be expensive.
