I wouldn't spend 6k on a 1.2.
For that cash I'd want something good. Perhaps a PH-quick for £5k, and a £1k for insurance - bingo.
If you are set on a smaller engine just get a cheaper/older one.
Or as a compromise Saxo VTS/106 GTaii.
Yeh, and the fact that they are much newer too.
£ per performance I'd always go for a ph-quick; less than £5k in some cases, and you're hardly going to be falling behind on track/private roads. ;)
If it's just for surfing I'd go with a laptop because of their flexibilty, especially with today's wifi networks.
You could format the desktop and get it running smoothly for the occasional game.
21 with 1NCB and a previous big claim would have been 1400 on a ph-quick.
Instead I insure my 106 GTi for half that whilst I'm saving up/graduate :dead:
Were they available as an option from dealers on the FFs?
If Renault garages sale them then I think you could say they were an option...
Phone your co. and ask them. I'm sure the premium won't be much. Better save than sorry! :)
My red GTi would be seen between CorfeMullen and Poole inthe mornings and evenings...
I saw the Bmth meet thread but as I'm not a full member I cannot reply.
My friend Mark_s and I both currently own pocket rockets and aspire to Clio ownership :)
