That is an impressive range for such a small camera! I know what you mean about carrying a bulky camera around. A camera phone just doesn't cut it for the other times.

The latest versions of Daemon tools has spyware in it so I was told by a colleague... Don't know if it is true or not but I am using Slysoft Virtual Clone Drive these days. Its free and works perfectly, and yes, you use it to "mount" DVD/ CD image files without having to burn them first.

The last pic is from a three photo stitch to maximum zoom so is showing more than just the zoom range. Looks like a capable camera though, why did you get rid of the Canon?
