The old one just didnt have a good reputation. I imagine they will become quite hard to sell. The new one though has great reviews and the all important Clarkson factor. Whether you like him or not, when he says its one of his top ten cars of all time that is going to do a lot for a cars reputation.

Yeah, back then imports were fine. I thought of getting an import aswell. But then the brokers arrived and did similar prices on UK cars. I wouldnt dream of getting an import 182 now when the brokers are so cheap.

I got mine from Whitehouse Orpington aswell. Speak to John Card and he will help you to get a good deal. Especially if there is a group of you. Go for something like 13k

9 out of 10 people would rather have a UK car and not worry about all that stuff. Which you can now get with the brokers. Or even some dealers. Imports have had their day.

I think 27k is definitely too much. I wonder if theyll drop the price a bit later on. You can get a WRX STi or hot EVO for that money, not that I really want one, but they are a more hi-tech car. Who is selling import V6s?

How many more times...dont mention supermarkets or imports. Mention BROKERS selling UK CARS for 12k. Thats what I did when I bought mine and I got broker price from a dealer.

They are much cheaper on ukcarbroker.co.uk. £12k for a basic one.

I think someone here got that spec for £12500 from a broker.

Dont mention the word supermarket or import. Just say you can get UK cars from a broker for under 13k and if they will get close to that price youll give them a deposit today.

Is it a loud rattle? I have a sort of light metallic ticky noise from under the gear stick but Ive heard a lot of 172s make this noise.

Dum, dum, dum, another one bites the dust. Another £50 added to the residuals on mine. Seriously though, any car hit by a truck is going to get mullered. Any more of this and people will start talking of The Curse of the Cup.

Cup will be worth more in the long run.

I doubt there are many Cups with CC left. Might aswell get a 182 with options if you have 15k to spend. Not that Id pay that for one.

Yes they are limited. Theres a couple of thousand of them but about 10 get written off every week!

They still have a 172 Cup? Brokers buy lots of UK cars in one go so they get them cheap via fleet discount. Everything is the same with the car. On an import you have to get the alarm, window etching and put up with hassle when it comes to sell. I think someone on here got a 182 with cup bits...

Some of the people whove seen 182s in this colour have said they couldnt see any gold at all.
