I use to run 5mm spacers on the front and 3mm spacer on the back of my 2001 clio.
As for buying them online, dont know. You can check out eibachs website. They have spacer.
What is needed is a evo cover story. 3 days in wales and 1 day on track with a collection of the best hot hatches. 205 1.9 gti, R5 gt turbo, mk2 golf gti 16v, Clio williams, CTR, Cooper S WORKS. 106 gti, Clio 182 cup.......Have I missed any.
Just read the article. Sounds impressive. What can I say. I want one. But without those wheels.
How about this. A 182 with the Cup option, Roamers TB conversion and the wheels of the old 172 or 172 cup.
When I spoke to Torsion Tuning they said it would cost around £1500. That fitting. Does not include a gt turbo that will be needed to carry out the conversion. Plus you also have to think about having a engine rebuild.
What you want to do is put it cheapo 2001+ clio. Put some decent suspension on it and brakes. And then you will have a stealth monster.......Intercooler in the front might give it away.
4 pots on a 1.2 16v. Hmm bit daft dont you think. Good set of Ferodo pads and bigger disc would of been enough......wouldnt it?
As for the de-cat. Get powerflow or Peco to make a custom one up. Wouldnt cost much. Peco now have a Rollin Road so you could test it at the same time.
Hows it going javascript openWin pop_up_profile.asp?profile=6605&ForumID=6 , profile , toolbar=0,location=0,status=0,menubar=0,scrollbars=0,resizable=1,width=440,height=370 ">king.stromba. Is it lasting. I think I have the same problem on my R19 as well as a clonking noise when i turn left.
Southport Renault. Drove past their the other day after a trip to B&Q one dinnertime.(Work in southport). I was running late so I only got a chance to have a little look as i prepared myself for the round about. Thought I saw the new dynamique with the 15in 172 alloys.
sorry if im a bit dumb. But i thought the megane 2.0 (phase 1) was the same engine as the williams. If so do people go the megane block route because these are easy to get hold off were if you wanted a williams you would have to go for the whole engine.
Buy a diesel skoda. Cheaper to insure.
Look round for some used CUPs. Theirs one by mine for £10K. Was tempted but the insurence is £700 cheaper on the Skoda. Bloody Liverpool insurence premiums.
Agree with Black Fox. Pig to clean but look ace when clean. They do show the scratches. But to be honest so does my blue dynamique. My first dynamique was a black one. At the time Black was VERY rare. Now everyone has a black one.
My new vRS is black.
