I found good seats & coill overs transform the clios, i felt full fixed buckets improved my driving more than the coillys... each to there own though but the standard seats are shite for spirited driving, you have to sort of wedge your legs between the door & gearbox surround lol
So my 172 needs some new front tyres.. comes around too quick :(... i currently have 16" Turini's & would prefer to keep using the conti sports as they have done me well so far & was just gonna go around a few local garages but after using the trusty cliosport search button it seems a alot of...

Was tempted to go down the cup racer open air style way but you can really feel the diffrence from heat soak & every one knows clio bays are mobile ovens lol.. so thought i would "try" some thing diffrent.. may be an...

Re: My Ph1 172 track sl*g Progress Thread
Its a 15 min job to undo it lol
* remove the splash gaurd
* support the engine on a jack
* un-do the 3 main bolts on the engine
* un-do the 4 bolts from the engine mount
* Remove the bugger burpspeed style!
Re: PH1 172 Track Car, abit special
Now how are you gonna rag that around a track :eek:
Looking great guys looking forward to seeing the windows, ever thought of doing the fog surrounds & splitter white to go with the white/blue theme? you've done the diamond!
RStuner map FTW! £170 delivered for the diy remap kit from hank, my 172 made 184.5bhp running the Group-N map along with de-cat & matched inlets, charly at surrey rolling road said it was running spot on mixture wise :approve:
The flat spots are either due to damageing a lamba sensor or it may be that you need to re-map to suit the increase in fuel
Oh & the smell is normal, the cat usally re-burns all the un-used fuel but now it just get thrown out the back of your exhaust :approve:
Cut the the airbag ECU line no. 7 & the lights go out for free :D...
Note: only to be used when converting to a track car as the airbags are usally removed, doing this on a road car will leave the airbags switched off so i'm told :dead:
