*** UP-DATE ***
Well its been a while since the PH2 project thread has been updated due to the track **** taking over & falling outta of love with the PH2 due to the smash & having all the coil overs & bucket seats removed.. so i had to do some thing! First on the list was apex springs as i...
I've scrubbed the b****cks out of my carbon one, curbs, speed bumps & even pot holes, coilovers get you low enough for it lol... its still in one piece :D all though rubbing your hand underneath you can feel the scars lol
vish mate, what have you done lol, need hands of a 3 year old to get it back or a telescopic magnet, best thing you can have when working in the sport engine bays ;), or just remove the skid/wind pannel from under neath and grab the fooker!
Once the cars on axle stands on the box section the fooker should go no where! its never let me down & i've jacked my car & many other clios that way & never had a problem
Most garages in your area should be able to do it, price wise £80-150 depending on where you go & you will still need to get it track'd & camber set-up
My workshop/birth of track car is based in windsor lol, if your in the area drop me a Pm
You boys come in cheap! £30 to fit coilovers .. There a c**t to say the least, not hard.. just a c**t, f**king around under the car & along with odd seized bolt :dapprove:.. have done 6 Clio's now.. why oh why i do it i'll never know lol
James
Cheers :), just been on there, £380.00.. it says it will meet fia noise levels, does it mean with the de-cat fitted or standard cat? dont wanna get to the ring & told to go home lol
That exhaust looks ace & light weight ben ;), got a link for the website & price please? think my PH1 track **** needs this lol.. what DB is it? hoping to get on the ring next year
Think you've summed it up there mate ;)... i've drainned a clio box that was on/around 75k & the stuff looked rotten, gearbox oil is often over looked & i dont think it helps that reno "them selves" have said to me we only change gearbox oil if the box its self is being re-built
Only a little tow sticker for me, which has since been removed by the bodyshop when it was in for repair :dapprove:... got another from legohead so i'm good to go again... well after the car's been detailed :o
Some of the black motors on here look ace guys ... why o why does black have to be such a c**t to keep clean & of course show every stone chip up as if it has been highlighted .. that is why.. i cant buy a black car :dapprove:
My old 1.2 - The start of the clio madness lol
And my two current toys..

Ok mate, erm.. should do the re-map before de-cat though - Flat spots :dead:.. give me a bell or will speek to you about it @ the staines meet on the 11th ;) PIZZAAAAA!
Noooooo.... the mighty H is not so great then :dapprove:... fook it! will keep the Clio's for now then, thought the gearbox's were bullet proof on the type r's :S To be fair theres nothing wrong with my PH2 or PH1 172's its just i'm 6'2 & thought the seating on the Type r was much better for...
