Re: best/cheapest place for sun/tw*t strip
LOL, i would avoid it full stop but since pulling the fook outta the roof lining the standard ones "may" stay in place for the MOT... not being abused round the Ring though lol
Check piston heads mate, imagine what prices will be like in january when no fookers got money & needs cash asap - bargains to be had!, i payed 3.5k for my 172 in MARCH this year before the recesion, 51k full service history & cambelts had been done at the dealer & i payed £900 for a PH1 running...
Not got a clue gray, my Ph2 172 has them as well, maybe for securing stuff in the boot :S
Cool, will give you a ring if i need a spare pair of hands lol
Not that i'm aware, only option you have is to remove the vibration mounts, that should see it drop around 15-20mm, i hate the standard seat height aswell, i'm 6'2 :dapprove:
*** UP-DATE ***
Well was down the warehouse on my ownsome today & since the weather is seriously shite out it left me with good time to crack on & try & get this ready for the Rolling road which is on the 31st January
So finnished off getting the heater gear off, awkward fook!

Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread
Nice work mate, my PH1 172 shares the same look as yours on the inside, fook loads of wires every where & no dash lol, will be keeping an eye on your thread to see what you do with the dash display
Every thing makes a diffrence lol - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=365856&page=5 scroll down to see pics of how i have ruinded one of my 172's lol ( well acctually turned into some form of track weapon/death trap lol )
Will have to invest in some, driving the PH2 daily i'm...
I would be weeeeel fucked off with that, yea yea they have insurance but you'll never look at the car in the same light, i say 172 bumper & 172 seats to make up for the airbag f**k up! thats why i do all my own serviceing & have a friendly MOT station that lets me watch/chat while there doing my...

30 minute drive from me so can check them out...
Thats what i'm thinking, bloody pricey though :dapprove:... think it may be bolted in behind the passenger seat as i may be chopping out the boot well "if possible/safe"
Affraid its gotta drive ON THE ROAD to the ring in April so surely i'll hit some evening driving either there or the way home :dapprove:.. In an ideal world i would ditch the lights & run the cold air feed through the front light like on the cup racers
As per title, trying to find out which uses less power as i may drop a set into the PH1 track **** as 1. standard lights are shite & 2. will more than likely be running a very low ampage batterey
Thanks,
James
