There is one just around the corner from my work, they offer great service and fixed my camera for free, even though it was 3 years out of warranty. The bad news is that it is in Amsterdam! Sony do claim on the UK site that it only takes 5 days for a repair though. Details

RDP=MSTSC Tight VNC = free similar type program, but not as good as RDP. As long as the PC's are in the same workgroup/ domain, just connect to the admin shares: \\yourpcname\c$

you have to enable rdp on the machine you want to control. Not all vista editions have rdp iirc. Tight VNC is a good free alternative though.

I have a network application and I need to be able to print to a text file from it without having to fill in any prompts for save locations/ files names. The standard windows text file printer only works if you choose a file location and name so that is not an option. Does anybody know...

What location are you saving it to? Any chance it is going to another profile desktop or something?

The biggest leap possible to make! The D3 is the mother of all cameras but you would be better off getting something cheaper and some good glass to go with it IMHO. D700 if you really want full frame or else the D90/ D300 would also be more than sufficient.

We use Witness. It can do a lot more than just holidays but I think that there are different licenses for different purposes. Good product though.
