Most traders sell it - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/engine-amp-exterior/meguiars-all-purpose-cleaner/prod_321.html
I can't see any actual wheel cleaner being sealant friendly tbh which I why I only use soap and water and a variety of brushes unless I have to.
I nearly bought one back in 2000 and ended up with a 306. Know what you mean.
I may end up keeping both, but I really can't justify my weekly mileage on the 106 when my 1.4 306 is so cost effective and end up with 3 cars lol
Guy who I am buying it off is a cleaning monkey already, arches and wheel inners are immaculate as he is an ex RS owners club Concours winner.
Paint is deep and shiny already despite being quite swirly. Will give me something to do. Hardest bit is going to be selling the 182 when the 106 is all...
Marring = Swirls, Hazing and fine scratches.
Not a big fan of the Dodo Purple Haze, no better than any of the other waxes in the same price category with the added downside of being like using a colour magic product with all the added colour in it. Enough to put me off it.
Spend a bit extra on...
Thats the one. It will lift the grime - though even mixed up at 10:1 I am not sure it will will be EGP friendly 100% you will have to be the guinea pig on that one !
Deep cleans the plastics nicely removing any old dressings. Works well on cleaning wax of trim.
Einszett Vinyl and rubber is akin to AG Vinyl and Rubber in the fact it is watery in consistency I use it on smooth trim only, may last a touch longer than the AG.
I don't use it as a replacement...
Strangely enough I had the chance to see Marititus in the flesh today when placing a deposit on one !!!!!!
Only way I can describe it is from memory it looks almost more of a Purpley Blue than China.
Yet another story of Renaults Chocolate paint vs Bird crap.
It seems to etch on contact so it seems in some cases.
Try and see if a decent polish sorts it.
Anything other than soap and water will probably strip the sealant. I would top with the Autobahn and see how that goes. I never use anything more than Megs APC on my own cars.
Ditch the Watermagnet, will known for causing Marring.
Some applicators would not go a miss.
As said you will need some proper polishes do do any real defect correction - working by hand you are limited to what you can use.
Not a big fan of the Megs 3 Step stuff, find I get better results...
Depends if you would mod the car in the future.
As above for me. If I can't find anything to replace mine I am going to bite the bullet and Recaro it up.
Agreed- looking at the pics, soap and water would be fine, maybe AG Engine and Machine Cleaner on any stubborn bits, don't look bad enough to warrant anything harsh or acidic.
