Stick with the Duragloss IMO.
I have loads of shampoos and it is pretty much the best I have used. Hyper wash is a tad more cost effective due to the dilution rate, but he Duragloss finish is nicer.
Clay won't do anything for swirl marks if anything it will make them look worse as it will remove any products hiding them. Clay is just for bonded on dirt washing alone wont touch/remove.
Not to sure.
Looking for a 306 Rallye or 106 GTi/Rallye to track and getting shot of the 182 as soon as I find one.
Not sure what to replace the 182 with idea was a R/Sport Megane DCi 175 as a daily drive but there is none out there second hand.
That would be the sensibe choice but would...
Even SRP will remove clearcoat, to be fair you could use it everyday if you liked and it would be ok in the time you own a car. But on the other hand, why use abrassives on paint so often ? If you have a good wash technique you can save your time, effort, product and clearcoat.
I used to be...
Einszett Glass Polish works well, not really any better than the AG though.
I use one of the above to deep clean, or Zymol HD Cleanse for lighter cleaning and then wax the glass on the 182. On the daily drive I polish and then I use Duragloss Rain Repel because it is so easy to use.
Depends on the weather really, in the sun onto the cloth first, in the shade direct to the paint.
I don't read to much into beading, polished unprotected paint beads. The non use of Snow Foam thing is a personal thing don't believe in using anything I fear to be to strong. To be fair the Clio...
Not really like a glaze no.
Can be used to remove very light dirt, and restore gloss after a wash. Some contain waxes and have anti static type qualities.
On carnuba finishes in no order I like.
Clearkote Quickshine
Zymol QD Spray
Sonus Carnuba Spritz
Britemax QD
General purpose during...
Scratches depends how deep they are does your nail catch in them ? Do they appear to disappear when wet ? Try some Meguiars Scratch X
Polish - Autoglym Super Resin, work on a panel at a time, keep working until there is little of nothing left of it to remove (same process with the Scratch X)...
Most cost effective here too - Matt has it on special offer - http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/Autoglym_Super_Resin_Polish_1.html minus the CS Discount makes it cheaper still.
The risk of the paint being faded will be very low, if the paint has faded it will have faded under the clearcoat so a polish won't help that.
The PC will restore any lost gloss.
A few people have - Heat them up, and then remove any residue with some tar and adhesive remover. There should be no real paint fade as the paint is clear coated, if there is paint fade though nothing but a repaint will fix it.
