Those wheels jinxed it, the car gods didn't like them with that ride height,
and they will not be tested on such things, so decided to take them off the road.
At least you can look for a decent ph1 172 now.
Prima racing are the only ones that don't go wrong,
at least i've never heard anyone say they've had to replace them.

Yes low oil levels would cause the changes to get worse,
and it'll be the seals that are leaking they're known for it,
you can buy a kit to replace them, I currently have a puddle of oil under my gearbox too.
Climb in the back and unscrew the plastic cover and unlock it by hand,
there's a metal level that locks & unlocks it, just pull/push it and it should open the boot.
Usually when the boot lock goes it's the solenoid which is £30 from Renault,
but it doesn't normally make the lock noise when you...
It's fine, never had any problems fitting my last Shepherd in there and he was enormous and weighed 40kg,
although the seats only go in for mot time and the carpets have been binned
due to being saturated with mud and slobber.
