Lenses never really loose that much money either so you can always sell it on if you decide it is not for you.
I am picking up a Tokina 12-24 this evening for a steal. Looking forward to having a play with it!
I get unlimited internet use with my bundle but not abroad. It costs a fortune as soon as you leave the country so I really would not bother. The 10 quid it will costs you for a couple of minutes on your mobile will buy a couple of hours worth of use in an internet cafe.
If you dont have anything with a decent reach currently, it might be worth getting something longer. You will probably end up using it more in the long run. For scenery pics, a 10mm lens will get you some great results. 18mm will also do the job though.
It is also subject to what you shoot...
We are looking at 1000 users so couldn't guess what the difference would be. The three year security suite quote was quite a shock when it landed on my desk though!
I am also looking at upgrading to this from SurfControl. It seems to be a better product on paper and SC has been discontinued since Websense bought them out.
Does anybody use the security suite or just the web filtering?
We treated ourselves to 22" monitors for work. That was what made me want one for home as they are so much nicer to work on.
Do it.. you wont look back! :D
Samsung 2493HM & 400 Euros. It is a great monitor.. the only thing I dont like is the touch sensitive controls on the screen as you have to turn a light on to see them. Picture quality and response is great though.
I went in to get a 22 inch for 220 but talked myself into getting a 24 instead...
Evening all... after a rather impulsive purchase of a 24" monitor yesterday I am now after something to manage both it and my 19".
I have installed Gridmove which seems pretty good (and free!) but wondered what other people were using.
Cheers!
I would be a bit nervous to clean my sensor myself. I would probably just make a worse mess. You can try a rocket blower (NOT COMPRESSED AIR CAN!) and see if that shifts some of it.
Dirt gets there most of the time from changing lenses. One of the reasons why I never do it outside if it is...
Going rate over here is 450-500 Euros. Will be going with B&W CPL and UV, Crumpler lens bag too so I am going to stick it on for 550 and see what interest I get.
Sadly I have to trade it in to be able to get the 100-400 or the wife will get the hump. They are an amazing lens though, incredibly...
I will try it out and see what happens. I can see in my contact that you get three warning before they take action.....as long as you are not downloading stuff and just checking mail etc then it should be okay I guess. Connecting to work through the Citrix servers may cause a problem though...
