One of the most interesting threads on here!
That turbo is going to be sucking in small pets as you drive past! Can't want to see some up to date vids of this beast running.
I just open IE6 as local admin on the remote machine and you can navigate around and do whatever you like without logging the user out. The downside is that it doesn't work with IE7.
there are also force delete programs available. Have a google.
I had the same a while back. I installed a new divx or xvid codec and it solved the problem.
I have the 24-105 and can't fault it as a walk about. So far I have not needed below the 24mm and as you are getting the 10-20 you should be okay.
The only thing I dont like about it is that it really is not that good indoors without a flash. I use the 30 f1.4 for that.
If I could choose...
XXXXD = Consumers base model.
XXXD = Consumers model, (was) base model
XXD = Consumers model, next one up
5D = Prosumer
1D = Pro
The consumer models go up yearly from 300-350-400-450 or 10-20-30-40. The pro's just get a new "Mk" (I,II,III), the replacement name for the 5D is nothing more that...
Agree....I am curious to know how much of a gap they are putting between it and the 450D.
The one thing I dont understand is why Canon moved away from the CF card for the 450D and now the 1000D. A lot of people grow into the other cameras and it means you end up with cards that you cannot use...
Totally agree. I just mean it is handy to experiment with the effects a ND grad filter has over a colour filter etc etc. It has the precise codings for the filters too.
Pete Eos is probably the man to answer this one.
I just downloaded the Tiffen filter plug in for photoshop as a trial. Not quite the real thing but it does give you a good idea of what things do.
Might be worth a shot?
Apparently quite a few people get caught out on Safaris with that. They think they can be outside to take some snaps without realising how fast the big kitties can run.
Wouldn't fancy my chances much.
Is this for music or home cinema?
My father in law just bought himself some new Marantz kit with B&W 700's and it sounds amazing.
As a bonus, he is giving me his old Marantz THX kit with Mordunt Short speakers. A nice little upgrade from the Harmon Kardon set I currently have!
Agree with...
The rebate is not offered by the shop. You just send the barcodes off the box to Canon in Ireland and they put the money in the bank. As long as it is an EU product, it makes no difference where you bought it from. You also have to send in copies of receipts and the form off the canon website...
