What the ECU does is governered by weather the coolant is below or above a certain temp. I.e the rev limiter cutting in early is down to the coolant being below a set temp.
First time I saw one was on a dull December day and I was not taken by it, does look better in the Sun. One to see in the flesh though.
Only you can make that decision, I have been mulling over to sell or keep mine for months but can't find anything as clean to replace it!

Lots where not fitted by the dealers from new as they would not go on and off the trucks with them on so where fitted as part of PDI hence way some are missing.
106 GTi will free up money finding one I am happy with is the issue there may have a couple to view at the weekend. Have considered a Rallye or 6 but I am not to sure.

Done the 205 GTi thing don't want another either want a track prepared 106 GTi or an Elise. I know what you mean, The problem is funds, the Elise for example would mean spending money that I should not be spending on cars lol
That's what the tyre place will tell you, can be scraped and cleaned out, just takes time and effort. I know a few people that have taken the tyre home cleaned it out and got the puncture plugged as normal.
Is the opposite for me I used mine to commute to work today and loved my drive to work and back, and made sure I came home the fun way. My lack of use means it feels new when I do use it, though I still am at the fancying a change mindset, but as soon as I drive it I wonder why I am thinking of...

I love the over-rev warning light debates! In all honesty if you change as you see the "your about to wallop the limiter numpty warning light" you won't quite hit it !
