The speedo sensor is a common fault with the 172's, I also had it on mine. Sold it before i had to fix it but it will get worse and worse with time. Do a search for speedo broken/ fucked/ not working and there are a few other topics about it. None have a solution which helped me fix mine...

revenge idea: Go onto their PC and change the autocorrect feature in word to correct "is" to c0ck", "and" to "c$nt" and "I" to "Fu#k". Will bugger up their word docs and emails if they use word as their email editor in outlook.

regardless of whether you have a share, they can still normally do the \\computerOne\c$ to get onto the hard disk. If you have VNC on your pc you are also buggered. To be honest, you only need the admin password and they can do whatever they want.

I used to have to 1.4 when I was younger. They are great fun. Test drove a 1.6 and it was a fair bit nippier!
