Only time I have had a lambswool mitt fail is when I left it in the bucket damp.
Dry them the best I can by shaking them now or even hang them on the line to drive.
As everything depends how much correction you want. I have used all 3 pads, with the FF, with the IP it would be polishing pad first, stepping up to the light cut if need be.
Most of it has Jeffs AJT and Titanium that it has been wearing since last September time, just topped with a spray wax when washed every 4-6 weeks !
One front wing and half the bonnet now have Dodo Double Wax on them, looks nothing special (Silver!) but will report back on durability.
SRP will work fine on headlights, if you have access to a machine polisher you can use something with a bit more bite to polish them up even more.
I use Menzerna Intensive Polish and/or Final Finish
Working by hand you may also want to look into polishes made for clear plastics as they will...

You could always just buy one of the normal range hard waxes ?

Junk the back seats, fit some xenons and a new steering wheel, then get a re-spray and you will be getting somewhere ;)
You can use the Poorboys Natural Look Dressing on exterior parts but it does not last long, and will only give you a matt finish.
On the same token New Look Trim Gel may look to glossy inside.
Glass Cleaners I just use normal trade glass cleaner from a local window place. If it is that smeary...
