Nightmare - The art of the rotary is getting a perfect finish with it - the skill in using one is not the removal of heavy defects but creating a swirl free gloss. Hope it does not take to much polishing to get a finish your happy with.
Shampoo is not the greatest the Super Resin is a damn good product, not great for paint correction but works a treat as a light cleaner and polish and base for waxes or sealants.
Depends on the task in hand, the Sonus Green works well as a mild clay on good shape paint. On heavy contamination you would be best looking elsewhere.
3 main groups of Polishes for defect correction by PC are:
Poorboys SSR 1, 2 and 2.5
Menzerna Intensive Polish and Final Finish
Meguiars #83 and #80
I prefer the Menzerna's but the have the hardest learning curves, the Poorboys being the easiest and the Megs in the middle. All in all any will...
As above meant top help the towel to glide along to minimize the risk of marring.
I have some Meguiars Last Touch QD mixed half and half with water for drying purposes if I do towel dry.
Yeah kind of, instead of going passed the Army base and across the lights up the roundabout with the Saddlery place and garage, turn right at the lights before the Cross Hands Pubs, those are the 7 bends, cuts out the rounabout and brings you out on the Evesham Road.
Washer Jets on the Bonnet Paul? Even the cups have them lol
First time mine have been used, ones on the lights aswell of course, Xenons looked so good in the MOT station ;). Only about the second or third time the wipers have been used.
My cars Have always look crap after claying lol !
A rewash here after polishing depends how much dust the polish has made, If I can clean up with QD I don't bother with a re-wash.
Well mines through. Like testing a brand new car was one testers words, the other says he hates tyre dressing !
Good to know my washer jets worked as it was the first time they had been used in 3 years !
True Say of the Day Mr Ali
Spend an extra £80 quid on Best of Show and you won't gain much looks wise.
I may get a chance to try my Victoria Concours tomorrow.
NXT did foam ok for me, but did seem to take a decent amount of it for it to do so. Which is not ideal as it is a fairly strong shampoo even at the recommended strength.
As others have said most depends how much aggression you plan to use on parts when working under it. Leave a jack or jacks under there to if you can place them where they won't get in the way.
