the lead provided with it is a usb to serial adapter and then serial to jack as required by the ecu. i should state that really. worked fine for me on windows 10 and windows xp
just means the usb port is intermittent for connection to a laptop, its a common issue but the ecu is equipped with usb and serial communication so just need to use the serial cable to laptop instead of a usb. Speaking with efi parts they offer a repair service for the usb port but as the serial...

I dont think the throw is any more than standard on mine, or on any ive fitted. Maybe ive just never noticed? Bend it to bring it further back and fit a decent knob and all is good
only if you have a reg fitted at the rail. i know of a car running the boost module running a complete ph2 fuel system bar the 225 injectors. so it might not be a requirement anymore, worth asking the question
